Mehiläinen health centres operate as a part of the network of public health centres, which allow customers freedom of choice. Our activities are based on customer orientation and strong multidisciplinary teamwork, comprehensive e-health care services and accurate measurement of the effectiveness of operations and treatment.
Diverse work tasks at Mehiläinen health centre
At Mehiläinen health centre, a nurse’s work tasks include the assessment of the need for treatment by phone, through chat, or at the reception or appointment. In addition, the work includes patient care, guidance and counselling.
As a nurse or public health nurse, you participate in procedures, book appointments and do annual check-ups, sexual health counselling and wound care, interpret laboratory results, administer vaccinations and other injections, and do on-call work in alternating shifts with your colleagues. Patients include people from all age groups, from babies to the elderly.
