<p>Medical Center Mehiläinen Salo offers a wide variety of health services. There are almost 100 doctors and other health care experts working in our unit. The laboratory is open every day. Results from the most common examinations are ready the following day. The imaging unit is open on weekdays and the unit is equipped with a digital x-ray machine. We offer radiography, mammography and ultrasound examinations in the imaging unit.</p>
<p>Small surgical procedures and day surgery (i.e. tonsil operations, men's sterilizations) are done in the reception's procedure unit, and the unit is also equipped with a gastrointestinal tract endoscopy apparatus. The care of the unit's asthma and allergy patients in continuously developed to respond to the latest information.</p>
<p>Occupational health services offer multidisciplinary expert services, which include the prophylactic care of illnesses, risk assessment, the assessment of working ability and rehabilitating measures and participation in the company's work community. There is also comprehensive travel and vaccination services available from the occupational nurses.</p>
<p>The Medical Center is located on the 3rd floor of the shopping center Plaza, nearby train and bus stations. </p><p>From the Helsinki-Turku highway: 4 km.</p><p>When you arrive to the 3rd floor, you will see two signs: Mehiläinen and Mehiläinen occupational health. After the sliding doors there is a customer service point on the right and a self-registration machine on the left, almost opposite of the customer service point. </p><p>The occupational health does not have its own customer service unit; the self-registration machine can be found on from the first waiting lobby.</p>
