Arla is a well-known dairy industry company with approximately 370 employees in Finland. Employees work in production, logistics and specialist roles. For several years now, Arla has been investing in supporting the physical activity of employees, and in 2022, Arla won the award for the most active workplace in Finland at the Finnish Sports Gala.
Last year’s theme at Arla, Wellbeing Me, included mental health themes, nutritional information and various activity challenges. The multidisciplinary occupational health care team provided support to Arla's personnel and guidance in how to increase physical activity and to integrate it with everyday life. During the year, Arla's designated occupational health team organised, among other things, an occupational well-being day and gym coaching.
