You can book an appointment with a physiotherapist or other rehabilitation professional without a doctor's referral. Our rehabilitation professionals will refer you to a doctor or other specialist if your condition requires it. Our specialists work together to help you get the best care possible.

Rehabilitation counselling
Do you need rehabilitation counselling or help in seeking Kela's intensive medical rehabilitation services from Fysios Mehiläinen? Rehabilitation counselling provides you with individual help and guidance related to rehabilitation. Our rehabilitation counselling service is available from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Physiotherapy promotes and maintains mobility and functional capacity. Physiotherapists treat musculoskeletal pain and dysfunctions and prevent various types of stress and sports injuries.
All of our physiotherapists have a degree in physiotherapy and are registered with the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health. After graduation, physiotherapists update their competence and develop their professional skills in continuing education and courses.
Some of our physiotherapists are specialised in certain ailments or methods of therapy, such as neurological physiotherapy, sports physiotherapy or maternity physiotherapy. Sports physiotherapists specialise in the treatment of sports injuries, while maternity physiotherapists are familiar with the effects of pregnancy and childbirth on the musculoskeletal system. Some therapists may be specialised in the treatment of lower limb problems and others in the rehabilitation of back pain.
